This is the opened up digipak for Nuit et Brouillard's album, Flutwacht. This includes the cd of the album, as well as a artworl boklet, complete with lyrics. However, this design is very plain, and we intend to make our digipak more interesting to the eye.
This is the complete digipak from the band Muse. This is their most recent alum, The Resistance. The boxset costs £59.99, And comes with a hard outer case, the original album artwork, a booklet of artwork of the band, the CD, 2 12" vinyls, and a 2GB thumb drive. The pack appears plain at first, but upon opening the artwork is evident and the finished product is impressive.
We picked this video for many reasons; the first being that there is a whole band shot which is similar to the sort of thing we wish to accomplish. Another being is the use of various camera angles that change throughout the video.
The music track we are pitching for is Paid to Get Excited by Butch Walker.
Our music video will consist of a band, comprised entirely of a green screen compilation of Stuart, playing in front of various added scenes, related to the lyrics of the song. During the course of the video, the costumes of the band members will change between various parodies of musicians.
The video opens with Stuart dimly illuminated, until the lyrics begin, floodlights illuminate him and his scene. The first scene we plan to be a desert scene inspired by Vertigo by U2. As the scene progresses to the chorus, the sun will rise and we'll transition to the next scene at the end of this scene.
Vertigo is a example of a band performance in a novel environment with various effects.
Rick Astley's video gave us the idea to have Stuart as every member of the band, as in the video various parts are played by Astley, such as singer, drummer and cameraman.
The song "I disappear" by Metallica is an inspiration towards our project - mostly inspiration for the desert scene, however.
This picture shows an idea we had for the backdrop of the second verse, as it is the UN Headquarters, and lyrics in this verse talk about a peace sign.
For the final verse we intend to picture the band in Vegas as the day ends. As the light dims, he is left lit by floodlights once more until the song ends and it is abruptly turned off after the song ends.
